Sacramento, CA...June 6-8, 2008 is over. For us it was a time to see fellow members, hang out, share time and catch up!
Our demonstrations were well received and we had a lot of fun showing off our speacial horses.
A special "Thank You" to James Mendoza for coordinating this event for us.

Aug 4 - Old Spanish Days Fiesta Parade in Santa Barbara, CA

The application has arrived for the Santa Barbara Old Spanish Days Fiesta Parade. The application is due July 1st, so I need a headcount! (It looks bad when we say there will be 10 of us and only 2 show up, and then they drop us in the line up so we have to wait forever, so please try to be as accurate as possible about whether you think you will make it.)
If I didn't reach you at expo (I wasn't as thorough as I had intended to be) and you think you will go, I need to send you a waiver to sign that I mail in with the application.
Stalls at the Earl Warren Fairgrounds are $55 if paid in advance or $75 at check-in. If you want to pay in advance I need the fees by the time I send in the application late this month.
So be-deck your horse with flowers, straighten your hat, and yell "viva la fiesta!" at me so I know you'e in!
Oh, and if you haven't sent me your membership dues yet I need those too!
We would also like to include:
Monthly rides together (Still searching for the right place. We want to get this going ASAP so we can start working on Expo routines.)
The following events are still to be coordinated - anyone who would like to be in charge of any of them please say so - we will appreciate the help!
Horse Camping.....IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS??? EUER VALLEY IS ALWAYS A GOOD PLACE IN THE SUMMER!

FOR IT. The club will help and provide resources to the best of our abilities
and would love to see more active members. Consider coming to a meeting
to become more involved or to pitch your ideas. I know some of you live
